Integration with Intel® vPro™ Technology

The K1000 integrates with Intel vPro technology to offer enhanced remote management and recovery capabilities. With AMT 7.0 the K1000 can discover, group, provision, manage and take full control of remote systems with installed agents even when the agent is not running. The K1000 also allows the admin to force the system into a recovery environment like the K2000 to recover files or even to re-image it. The K1000 allows the admin to take hardware control of the PC and recover it thereby allowing IT administrators to address hardware issues remotely without having to fly out an engineer.

Support for 3rd Party Remote Control Products

The K1000 provides support for other 3rd party remote control such as Windows Remote Desktop, NetOps, Dameware or Bomgar.

Integrate K1000 with Bomgar to enable secure remote control capabilities that allow administrators to launch remote support sessions from within the K1000 management console to take control of systems and diagnose and remediate issues. Remote sessions can be initiated by both the administrator as well as the end-users, and can be launched from Mac, Windows and Linux systems. KACE customers can initiate a Bomgar remote support session with a single click from the KACE Appliance's Web-based user interface. This integration is optional and is available to customers as part of Bomgar professional services.
