Dell Services offers two primary areas of professional services, designed to get you up running as quickly and economically as possible.

- Remote Configuration Services:
Combining KACE Appliance remote configuration capabilities with Dell Services expertise, these innovative remote configuration services are available in four hour increments for both the K1000 Management and K2000 Deployment Appliances. They allow for fast, economical professional configuration services tailored to your needs and delivered over the Internet, without the expensive, on-site consulting engagements many of the competitors recommend. In addition, this innovative offering allows you to follow along on the screen with the Dell Service’s expert, to ensure you accomplish your intended goals. Based on individual requirements, these services might focus on: - K1000 Review:
A review of the existing configuration of the K1000, including backup and recovery processes, deployment processes, and new client update processes. - Asset and Patch Management:
Define patch management processes, custom asset relationships, import asset lists, and configure the asset update process on the K1000. - Software Distribution and Licensing:
Define key software license assets, deploy standard applications, and configure the software update process. - Service Desk Configuration:
Set up categories, workflows, custom fields, and ticket reports on the K1000. - Deployment Configuration:
Configure pre-installation boot environments, disk images and create pre and post installation tasks on the K2000, including configuring and deploying remote site appliances.
- Custom SQL Report Creation:This offering is a two hour service engagement designed to remotely assist customers with creating new reports for the K1000 and/or the K2000 Series Appliances. Report scope could include:
- K1000 Reports:
Create custom reports for asset management, patch management, software distribution and license management, Microsoft compliance, OS distribution, Windows 7 readiness and more. - K2000 Reports:
Create custom reports for deployment logs, image capture logs, image deployment logs, license usage, boot logs, and remote site sync logs.
